XL Recordings

XL Recordings is an, Independent, British record label founded in 1989. The record label forms part of the beggars group. 

Artists include:

-Adele

-Tyler The Creator 

-Azealia Banks

-Frank Ocean 

The label was launched to release rave and dance music. During the 90's the releases ranged from techno, break beat hardcore and drum and base. Today the record label produces a wide range of genres for a large target audience. 

Def Jam 

Def Jam Recordings is an american record label producing predominately hip hop and urban music in 1984. In the UK it  takes on the name Def Jam UK  and Operates through virgin EMI Records.

-Jay z

-Rihanna

-Nas

The label started by producing punk rock music but now produces music for many mainstream artists.
